Born in 1982 in Beckton, Jermaine attended St Joachim’s before moving to St Bonaventure’s

Jermaine started his football career at Charlton Athletic, then moved to West Ham, then onto Spurs and Portsmouth. He moved back for a second spell at Spurs and then onto Toronto

He is currently at Sunderland AFC

He was a regular in the England squad since he first started playing for the Under-16 team

Jermaine has started a Foundation to support homeless, vulnerable and abused young people in St Lucia and assist their education
