George was born in 1988 in Canning Town and attended St Helen’s Primary School

He had early successes playing football

He played for Arsenal and England but he decided to move into coaching and focus on developing grassroots football.

He now works for Community Development at West Ham United FC and runs programmes for students that are at risk of exclusion from school

He has recently been honoured at The Palace for his community work
