School Uniform

St Bonaventure's insists that all boys wear the approved uniform in its entirety at all times including coming to and from school. Outdoor coats should not be worn in and around the school and all clothes should be clearly labelled.

Years 7 & 8

• School Blazer (brown with school badge).
• Plain black trousers (formal).
• Official brown 'V' neck school jumper (if worn).
• Plain white collared shirt.
• School tie.
• Black formal leather shoes (training shoes, suede shoes, boots etc. of any kind are not allowed).
• One plain dark coat, with no large motifs or logos on, may be worn over the School Blazer. Hoods may not be worn on or around the School premises.
• The wearing of any jewellery (except one gold or silver ear stud), heavy boots, jeans, cords or caps is forbidden.
• The only form of acceptable headwear is a school woollen hat with the St Bonaventure's logo (available from reception).

Years 9, 10 & 11

Haircuts

Markings or symbols which have been cut into the scalp or eyebrows are not allowed. Shaved heads are not allowed. Haircuts which give offence to the discipline and good order of the school or in the opinion of the Headteacher prejudice the uniform policy of the Governors are also forbidden. Boys with unsuitable haircuts will be sent home at the discretion of the staff.

Mobile Phones

Mobile phones are not allowed on school premises and will be confiscated if seen.

PE & games

Kit is part of the school uniform and consists of sky-blue rugby top (from Lucilla's only), white T-shirt, white shorts and socks. Football boots/trainers as required.

CDT & Art

Protective apron.

The correct kit for PE, Games and CDT must be worn.
