Our Partnership with Parents

The school works in close partnership with parents. We believe that the quality of cooperation between school and home has a significant effect on children’s performance. Parent consultation evenings are held at
least once a year for each group and interim reports are sent home termly to keep parents up to date with their child’s progress

All pupils are given homework varying in amount as they progress through the school. They are issued with a homework planner which we ask parents to sign at the end of each week to use as a means of communication. It is an effective way of keeping us all in touch.

Every parent is automatically a member of the PTFA which gives parents the opportunity to be actively involved in the school. A variety of fund-raising events are organised throughout the year and make a valuable contribution to school funds as well as encouraging closer, informal contact between parents and staff.
