Geography

The Geography Department consists of:

Geography can help pupils make sense of their physical and human surroundings and extend their knowledge and understanding to more distant places. It helps to provide a perspective in which they can place local, national and international events and enable them to function more effectively as members of society

The Future

The Geography department intends to continue building upon it's strengths, re-inforce good practice, raise achievement and pioneer new technological activities. At present we are developing Departmental G.I.S. We are also looking into the possibility of fieldwork on the River Thames and studying Ecosystems at Kew Gardens and Tectonic processes at the Science museum. These are exciting times...
